Evelyn Ruth Hagood, 90, of Paducah passed away at 9:17 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. Mrs. Hagood was a self-employed in child care, a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and Order of the Eastern Star of Paducah. She is survived by her two sons, Barry G. Hagood of Memphis, TN., Larry J. Hagood of White Lake, MI.; seven grandchildren, Jared, Erika, John, Glen Earl, Alex, Andrew, Anna; one great grandchild, Madden; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvis W. Anglin and Lena Pearl (Hooper) Anglin; husband, George Hagood; son, Glen E. Hagood; one brother; one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Paul Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
