Dorothy N. Ginn

December 24, 1920 - January 30, 2012

Dorothy N. Ginn, 91, of Lone Oak died at 1:45 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Ginn was a homemaker and a member of East Baptist Church of Paducah. She is survived by two brothers, Bill Shekell of Ledbetter and Jerry Shekell of Paducah; one sister, Sherry Kay Sweaney of Paducah; one niece, Carol Holmes of Paducah; several other nieces and nephews and three special caregivers, Barbara, Linda and Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ginn; three brothers and one sister. Her parents were Jim Shekell and Sallie Mae Hargis Shekell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Curtis Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery of Paducah. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online at www.hughesfuneral.com
