Carol Yvonne Sledd loving wife and mother of four left this earth early morning of April 23rd, 2022 in Paducah. Born September 21st, 1959 Carol was the oldest of her three brothers and two sisters. Carol was known by most as an amazing cook. She spent most of her life owning and working for multiple local restaurants. She was loved by many who would attest that her gift was to serve people. She was always caring and generous beyond measure. She is survived by her husband of 42 years James Loy “Buster” Sledd of Paducah, KY. Her children; Shelly Thompson of Kaler, Deanna Taylor of Paducah, Aleshia (Cory) Edwards of Louisville, and James “Buddy” (Valerie) Sledd of Foristell, MO. Six grandsons; Kyler, Matthew, Cole, Dalton, Carter, Jackson and soon to arrive first granddaughter Sadie. Sister Phyllis Robinson of Symsonia, brothers Dennis(Dorinda) Rednour of Paducah, and Jason(Connie) Rednour of Bloomington, IL. Along with many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Mary Rednour, siblings; Kennth Rednour and Audrey Rednour. Visitation will be available at 12:00 noon followed by a memorial service held at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 30th at Oaks Church of God, 4830 Oaks Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
