Walter F. Myrick, 82, of Reidland, died at 1:47 p.m. Monday at Western Baptist Hospital.

Mr. Myrick was retired from United Parcel Service (UPS) of Paducah and was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of fifty nine years, June Myrick, one son, Michael Myrick of Paducah , one daughter, Carol Ann Hank of Paducah, and three grandchildren, Whitney Myrick of Nashville,TN., John Michael Myrick and Mason Hank both of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Raymond Myrick, his mother, Willie Robertson Kaler, one brother and one sister.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Rosebower Cemetery in Reidland with Rev. Larry Lewis officiating.

There will be no visitation.
