Ty Linn Cope, 48, of Reidland died at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Reidland.

Mr. Cope was a pipepitter and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184 of Paducah. He was a member of Rosebower Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Tyler Alexander Cope of Paducah, his parents, Ronnie L. and Tommie Ann Cope of Reidland, one sister, Sue Devine of Benton, and two nephews, J.D. Devine and Hunter Devine both of Benton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Hallie Story Meeks and Herman and Elizabeth Cardin Cope.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family after 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
